They aren't exactly shy about what their games are about, mainly impossibly busty women in various settings, but even though they're simple they accomplish their goals pretty well and don't try to do much more than that. But Battleship Bishojo feels all around lacking; the story just isn't that interesting, and while it has plenty of busty monster girls to show off every encounter is resolved pretty much the same way and none of them are very long or interesting. You don't get very much time to meet the characters, let alone learn enough about them to want to choose which one to get an ending CG of beyond just appearances, and the writing falls back to self-aware 4th wall breaking way too often. I do have to give it credit for not ending on a cliffhanger like most of their other games, but the ending still wasn't very satisfying, and by the end of the game it didn't feel like much of anything had been accomplished to the point that it made me wonder if I had missed some sort of "true ending" path where the real story happens. It's an overall passable game, but it's not much compared to Time Tenshi or Burokku Girls.. Writing and art show a lack of experience. I don't know what I was expecting. I must have been drunk when I bought this.. I bought this game hearing good reviews on one of Silver Cows previous games. I thought to try this out for my first visual novel with such a calibure of "plot".Im only 15 minutes in and Im a bit disapointed, The main character doesnt pull me in, in fact The first side character of the game had more development and intrset than the protagonist himself. There were moments in this short time span that were kind of..... Well, Questionable. Sense of reasoning, dialouge, intentions ( which are a bit unknown right now), you name it, I find it questionable. There are also moments where the fourth wall is treated lightly as its often being broken. Like a plate you accidentaly drop but the pieces you try to pick up keep slipping out of your hands so ypu try to get a dust pan to clean it up, getting a good amount after a bit but as you bend down to get the rest they all fall out and break again. That how i feel the protagonist's dialouge goes. But then again im only 15 minutes in. I have hopes that it could be enjoyable so im keeping an open mind. Maybe the main charcter will get his Goals straight and the dialouge will fix itself up and the girls' stories could be really interesting.I'll be back once i finish one of the possible routes with feed back. As for now im going to keep this as a 5/10 could get better.. I bought this game hearing good reviews on one of Silver Cows previous games. The game was good and a few different things that you could get but the ending was dissapointing you could have or update the game that you have the option to stay and maybe live with them. I honestly like Silver Cow Studio; all women in their visual novels might have breasts bigger than their heads and titanium spines to support their weight, but honestly, their stories are silly and fun at the same time. Of course, you can’t expect complex characters and a deep plot, but it’s enjoyable if you’re looking for something not serious.Battleship Bishojo had potential. But how can I put this… Nothing much, if not at all, happened in this first game. The girls are bounty hunters and their target are monster girls. Your choices pretty much only give you a few different CGs, they don’t affect the ending. And here’s the main problem in my opinion: they don’t successfully capture ANY of the monsters to sell. They encountered various monsters, and they simply failed to capture them because they a) let them escape or b) the crew felt bad about them and decided to release their targets. I think they should change their jobs because they suck at capturing monsters. lolThe ending was rushed and disappointing too. They built up the story’s climax and suddenly BOOM, “the end”. That was… Yeah.3/10. Also, it’s really expensive for such a story where nothing happens. The plot isn’t terrible, and I think this visual novel had potential. But unfortunately, it turned out meh in the end.. Writing and art show a lack of experience. I don't know what I was expecting. I must have been drunk when I bought this.. No sir, didnt care for it, especially not for that price.
